Position Summary

The Plant Manager will manage all plant operations to include office administration, production, shipping and receiving, quality, safety, and other related areas.

Position Functions
  • Develop and administer plant budget, while minimizing labor, overtime premium, freight, repair and other expenses.
  • Provide direction, leadership, and development opportunities to all associates to ensure customer satisfaction and company sustainability.
  • Establish, monitor, and improve overall plant performance and profitability.
  • Maintain and improve existing plant facilities and equipment.
  • Implement and oversee training, preventative maintenance, and safety programs.
Background Profile
  • Bachelors in Engineering, or other related field, preferred
  • 8+ years of plant and production management experience in a labor-intensive manufacturing environment.
  • Background in manufacturing methods, process improvement programs and procedures.
  • Working knowledge of budgets and financial statements.
  • Expertise with value stream mapping and LEAN manufacturing principles.
